I am currently a professional & fine art photographer based in Northwest Arkansas. I specialize in socially engaged art with a concentration on women's issues. After a personal history with domestic violence and emotional abuse I resolved to use my art to empower others.By utilizing visualization during the creative process I bring intense emotion through my photographs.
It is my intention to help my subjects and audience identify what prevents them from prospering and remind them how to dream.
Artist Statement:
I believe art heals hearts. It’s healed mine and countless others I’ve encountered on my journey.
I believe art saves lives. It’s saved mine and possibly even yours. I strive for my actions to reflect these cornerstones of my art practice.
I transmute feelings into photographs. Through planning, visualization, and enacting their mental strongholds, my subjects and clients explore their internal darkness and light. My projects are ultimately about putting broken people back together.
