Meet The Artist: Marsha Lane Foster

Freedom Dreamer Photography is my passion and vision that started way back in 2002. I didn't know it then, but my life’s mission was to become the empowerment of women. Since then I've sought to mentor, coach and uplift all through the vehicles of photography & art. It is my intention to empower others both in front of and behind the lens.

I have been a professional photographer and artist for 15 years now with 13 of those specializing in intimate photography for women. In 2017, I began photographing men and couples in the same intimate setting, adding to my intention to empower everyone. Men deserve to feel uplifted, empowered and to find a path to self-love themselves.
Intimate photography for couples is a way to enhance your relationship, spark that fire and feel closer to your someone special. It's a bonding experience like no other.
Same sex couples and all genders are welcome in our studio and cherished as all of our clients are.

In 2016 I released the acclaimed "Hostage Project" which was the beginning of my fine art career. A photo essay feauturing the entire project soon followed. Art therapy using the method I perfected with that first project and many others since is offered as the "Art That Transcends" coaching experience. I now publish art, photo education and personal development books under my brand Freedom Dreamer Publishing.

I have a passion to uplift others because I've been through the wringer in my life; domestic violence, emotional and mental abuse, teenage motherhood and people in my life involved in substance abuse.
I want my clients to be able to use the personal development experiences I've crafted and perfected over the years to be a catalyst for change; changes in perspective, changes in boundaries, changes in the reflection they see when I show them their images.
I want to help you see your inner beauty by showing you your outer beauty...because that is the language we’ve been taught to understand in our society. Once I crack that code, the internal work can begin.
I want to create images for you that become a touchstone to return to time and time again when your confidence is waning… a reminder that you really do “have this” and you’re going to be alright.
I empower because I’ve been disempowered. I love because I’ve been hated, I make art because I’ve seen my world in despair with barely any hope.

Because you see, I am you. And now, after all these years with my client’s help, I AM ME.

With gratitude,
Marsha

  • Where is your studio located?

The Freedom Boudoir by Freedom Dreamer Photography Studio is located at 206 S 2nd St Suite D, Rogers, AR 72756.

We are in the Historic District of Downtown Rogers.

  • I've never done this before. Will you help me prepare for the shoot?

Absolutely! Few have ever had this life-changing experience. I will guide you through the entire process, help you choose what to wear, customize the perfect hair & makeup look for you and pose you from head to toe. This is a high touch experience and I will facilitate you at any level you need or desire.

  • Can I do my own hair and makeup?

For our Full Day of Sexy Boudoir Experience, professional hairstyling and makeup application including eyelashes are part of your investment. For other experiences, you can choose to do your own. Unless you are very proficient at makeup applicaiton, we strongly advise a professional touch. We use a variety of vetted, professional makeup artists in Northwest Arkansas. Your preferences are always taken into account.

  • Do I get digital images of my photos?

You get a generous number of high resolution, retouched digital images with permisison to print included in your Full Day Of Sexy. You may also purchase discounted product credit at your consultation good toward any album, wall art or additional digitals in a custom case. We ocassionally have special boudoir experience offerings that vary in the product included.

  • How far in advance do I need to come in for my shoot?

Because all of our boudoir experiences are highly customized, we recommend you come for your consultation 4-6 weeks before you need your finished product. If you need them faster, just ask and I will see what I can do to accommodate you.

  • How do I see my photos after my shoot day?

After your Boudoir Experience we will schedule your in person “image reveal”. This is a separate appointment when you will come back to the studio to see your proof images. We will assist you in choosing your favorites and products to highlight them in. It is usually a week or so after your shoot day.

  • Do you post my photos online?

No image is ever shared without your explicit permission of which ones and where. Your privacy and comfort level is our highest priority. Any intimate photo you see online has been placed there by permission of the subject(s).

  • Who will take my photograph?

Marsha Lane Foster is the creative force behind the camera at Freedom Dreamer Photography, Freedom Boudoir by Freedom Dreamer Photography & Lane Foster Fine Art.

  • Do you photograph any genres other than boudoir?

Yes!  I specialize in intimate photography but I also have a robust fine art career branded as Lane Foster Fine Art.

Because I highly value professionalism and small business, I photograph headshots and personal branding sessions.

I also photograph Contemorary Glamour which is related to boudoir imaging but more modest. This style is available to anyone who prefers it. Within the boudoir studio I welcome women, men and couples. I also welcome people of any gender or sexual preference. I am open minded about lifestyles and how and with whom you prefer to be photographed.

  • Do you provide wardrobe for my shoot day?

At your consultation we will teach you to plan an ideal wardrobe for your Full Day of Sexy or any other experience and you will feel empowered to plan for your own items before you leave your consultation. However, you are welcome to use any items in our limited closet on your day!
