Personal Transformation Through Art In Northwest Arkansas
Art Therapy & Life Coaching With Marsha Lane Foster
"Art That Transcends"
is a Personal Life Coaching Program
With Artist Marsha Lane Foster
Launching in January 2026
For 13 years, I've been using my camera as a powerful tool for healing and transformation. What began as my own journey in 2015 to rebuild after surviving domestic violence has evolved into a mission to help other women reclaim their power through my unique blend of Fine Art Photography and Life Coaching.
My signature "Art That Transcends" Personal Coaching Program guides women through co-collaborated conceptual photography sessions with them as the subject. This, together with Polyvagal Theory based personal coaching, addresses trauma, builds confidence, and facilitates profound personal breakthroughs for my students.
The camera creates a safe psychological distance that allows vulnerability while being authentically witnessed—something I've discovered is a powerful healing tool through my projects
"The Hostage Project", "Fetal To Free", "My Unraveling" and "Awakening The Divine Feminine".
"WHAT HAPPENED TO ME NO LONGER DEFINES ME"
Bailey's experience with personal life coaching with Marsha:
“The vulnerability of being photographed nude cleansed me. After this experience, I feel completely different about my sexual trauma. What happened to me no longer defines me. It’s merely part of my story, and it no longer consumes me. Through art and coaching I have reclaimed my body. This type of healing works because we made purposeful intentions beforehand and were as one in our objective: the individual and collective healing of ourselves and the world."
- Bailey Bauer
The Fetal To Free series of 10 images were created during her Art That Transcends Coaching Program
Marsha Lane Foster's Artist Statement
I believe art heals hearts. It’s healed mine and countless others I’ve encountered on my journey.
I believe art saves lives. It’s saved mine and possibly even yours. I strive for my actions to reflect these cornerstones of my practice.
I transmute feelings into photographs. Through planning, visualization, and enacting their mental strongholds, my subjects explore their internal darkness and light. My projects are ultimately about putting broken people back together.
My art practice is socially engaged, focusing on emotional healing through conceptual photography. This healing radiates out concentrically from the models/subjects of my works, to myself, to the observer & patrons and to the collective ultimately serving to heal the world.
